Private dining at Cinder & Grove is not a room hired for the evening. It is a full collaboration between you and our kitchen team, beginning weeks before your guests arrive.
We develop a menu in consultation with you — around your guests' preferences, the occasion, the season. The result is a dinner that could not exist at any other table on any other evening.
Both private spaces can accommodate full audiovisual presentations, floral arrangements, custom printed menus and bespoke wine or cocktail pairings. We ask only that you give us enough time to do it properly.
The Ember Room
The Ember Room occupies the eastern wing of the restaurant, separated from the main dining room by a floor-to-ceiling sliding panel of dark-stained oak. The room seats up to eighteen around a single custom-built table in American black walnut. The hearth is visible through a glass panel — guests dine with the fire in their eyeline.

The Grove Table
For smaller gatherings, The Grove Table offers an intimate setting within a recessed alcove at the northern end of the restaurant. Screened from the main room by a living wall of herbs that the kitchen uses in service, it seats eight around a round table and feels like a room within a room.
